In Memoriam of Tony Snow

July 14, 2008: All of us at Great Comebacks^® were saddened to learn that former White House press secretary and honorary Great Comebacks recipient Tony Snow has lost his battle with colon cancer. Those of us who met Tony personally, and those who only knew of his story, feel as if we have lost a close friend.

Tony embodied the spirit of the Great Comebacks Program, living his life with great gusto, wit and humor – especially relishing his time spent with family and music. He spoke openly about his condition, and was a tremendous source of inspiration for other patients with intestinal diseases, who were touched by his unbounded optimism and hope.

We were honored to consider Tony part of our family - his passion for living will continue to inspire our community for a long time to come.
