Advocate for Change

Great Comebacks is more than just a one-time advocacy experience for current and past recipients.  As we try to educate Members of Congress on ostomy surgery and the needs of those living with an ostomy, who better to share that story than you?  We encourage you to use your experience on Capitol Hill as a platform to the next step and continue to be involved with what’s happening on the Hill and how it affects people with an ostomy and their families.

Resolutions have been introduced in the House (H. Res. 152) and Senate (S. Res. 95) to recognize the life-saving role of ostomy care and prosthetics.  Please take a minute to ask your Members of Congress to cosponsor these important pieces of legislation

To read the full resolution, check for existing cosponsors and see the current status of these resolutions, please visit www.congress.gov and put the bill numbers (H. Res. 152 and S. Res. 95) into the search box.

Please add your voice to the ostomy community and ask your Representative and Senators to support the ostomy resolutions in the House and Senate!
